Charlie: Lesson Four, Moving to the Prong Collar and Putting it all Together
Basic obedience is geared toward calming the dog down and gaining the dogs attention. You get use of basic commands like heel, walking nice on a leash, sit, stay and lay down. In these videos we utilize distractions in order to fine tune the dog and apply the training to real life scenarios and situations. By doing this the dog begins to hear your voice and respond to the commands given, no matter what’s going on. Train your dog to walk on a leash without pulling through the "follow the leader" excercise shown by Master Dog Trainer, Lee Hamilton. This 6 month old Giant Schnauzer knew a lot, but felt as if she had to do none of it. Watch us become the leader the dog requires and how much easier it is to get her attention and make her mind even with other dogs, distractions and outside too.
